What Cardful is
Cardful is an informational tool that helps you organize and get more value from credit cards you already have or are considering. It works on data you choose to enter.
Not financial advice
Cardful’s recommendations — including best-card suggestions, points valuations, and keep-or-cancel readouts — are generated by software using the data you enter and general, publicly available assumptions. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only and are not financial, tax, or legal advice. Always confirm card terms, rewards, and fees directly with the card issuer before making a decision. You are solely responsible for your financial choices.
Accuracy of information
Card details, reward rates, and benefits change frequently. We maintain our catalog on a best-effort basis but do not guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free. Verify anything important with the issuer.
Affiliate relationships
Cardful participates in affiliate programs and may earn a commission when you are approved for a card through our links. This does not influence our recommendations or change the offer you receive. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Cardful: no attempting to breach security, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or use the service in violation of applicable law.
Intellectual property
The Cardful name, app, design, and content are owned by us. Third-party names and trademarks — including card issuers and card products — belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. Cardful is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any issuer.
Your account
You are responsible for activity in your account and for the accuracy of the information you enter.
Subscriptions and billing
Cardful’s core features are free. Cardful Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription offered at $59.99 per year (including a 7-day free trial for new subscribers) or $6.99 per month. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region; the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase governs.
All purchases are made through Apple’s In-App Purchase system and are subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that date.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not retroactively refund the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by Cardful, under Apple’s refund policy.
If your subscription lapses, your data is not deleted. Premium features stop updating automatically, and the free features remain fully available. We may change subscription pricing or the features included in Premium; we will give reasonable notice of changes that affect an active subscription, and any price change takes effect only on a subsequent renewal.
No account connections
Cardful does not connect to your bank or card accounts and cannot move money, make payments, or change anything at a financial institution. It is a personal reference tool that works from information you enter yourself. We never ask for or receive banking credentials. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Disclaimers
Cardful is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardful and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on the app.
Changes
We may update the service or these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
