The problem

The average power user leaves $283 on the table every month.

You carry 5–15 cards for the perks. But the perks only pay if you remember them — and no one does. The value quietly leaks out the moment you stop tracking it.

  • Statement credits that expire unused — every single month.
  • The wrong card swiped at dinner, missing 3x or 4x points.
  • Annual fees auto-renewing on cards that stopped earning their keep.
  • Points sitting in five programs, none of them counted.

Everything your wallet does

One app for the whole game

Stop juggling spreadsheets, calendar reminders, and a dozen issuer apps. cardful does the math so you stop leaving money on the table.

Best card to swipe

Tap a store or category and cardful ranks every card in your wallet by real earned value — and tells you why the winner wins.

Credits before they expire

Every monthly, quarterly, and annual credit, sorted soonest-first, with the real dollars on the line and a nudge before each one disappears.

Points, valued honestly

Every balance in one place at real cents-per-point — plus a redemption calculator that settles pay-cash-vs-redeem in seconds.

Fees & renewals

Know when an annual fee is coming — and whether the card still earns its keep, with the keep-or-cancel math laid out for you.

5/24 & applications

See your 5/24 status, a countdown to when slots free up, and minimum-spend progress on every active welcome bonus.

Offers, all in one feed

Your card offers gathered into a single browseable feed instead of scattered across a dozen issuer apps. No more hunting.

cardful's Best Card screen for Dining: the Amex Gold Card wins at 4× (≈ 8.0¢ per dollar), with Sapphire Reserve next at 3×.
Best card at checkout

Never swipe the wrong card again.

Standing at the register? Tap the category. cardful ranks every card you actually carry by what it'll really earn — multiplier times honest point value — and flags the winner. No guessing, no app-switching.

  • Ranked across your own wallet, not a generic list.
  • Shows the reasoning — "4× dining ≈ 8¢ per dollar."
  • Active offers flagged as a separate boost, never blended in.
cardful's Expiring soon screen: $35 across 2 credits due within 7 days — a $25 DoorDash and $10 Lyft credit on Sapphire Reserve, both expiring today.
Credits & benefits

Use the credits you're already paying for.

That airline credit, the dining stipend, the streaming reimbursement — they only count if you remember them. cardful surfaces every credit soonest-first, tracks partial use, and reminds you before the window closes.

  • Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual — all tracked.
  • Log partial use ($40 of $200) on a statement-style ledger.
  • On-device reminders before each one expires.

How it works

Set up in minutes, not hours

STEP 1

Add your cards

Pick from a curated catalog of the cards this crowd actually carries. No logins, no linking — just tap the ones in your wallet.

STEP 2

See the money on the table

cardful surfaces your unused credits, upcoming fees, and total points value the moment your wallet loads.

STEP 3

Swipe smarter

Ask which card wins at checkout. Get nudged before credits expire and fees renew. Open it daily; keep more of what's yours.

Privacy-first

Privacy isn't a feature. It's the foundation.

Most card apps want your bank password. cardful never does. The entire app is built to work with zero bank linking — and we never store full card numbers or banking credentials, period.

No bank linking required

The whole app runs on cards you add yourself. Linking is never required to get full value.

No credentials, ever

We never ask for, store, or transmit your bank logins or full card numbers.

On-device intelligence

Location used for nearby best-card picks stays on your phone. It never leaves the device.

Questions

Good to know

Do I have to link my bank?

No — and you never will. cardful's entire core experience works from cards you add by name. We never ask for, store, or transmit bank logins or full card numbers. Optional linking is a future Premium add-on that stays strictly opt-in.

Is cardful really free?

Yes. The full command center — best card at checkout, credit and fee tracking, points portfolio, 5/24, and the offers feed — is free to use. A Premium tier with automation and intelligence is coming later; it's additive, and the free app stays a complete product on its own.

How does cardful know which card is best?

It ranks the cards in your wallet by effective value — the earning multiplier for a category times an honest cents-per-point valuation of the rewards currency. Any active offer is flagged as a separate boost rather than blended into the ranking.

Which cards are supported?

We seed a curated catalog of the cards this community actually carries and expand it continuously. You add cards by name from that catalog — issuer, fee, categories, credits, and welcome terms come pre-filled.

When is it coming, and on what platforms?

cardful is built natively for iOS and is heading to the App Store. Join the early-access list to be first in. An Android version is planned as a fast-follow.

How does cardful make money?

The app is free. When you choose to apply for a card through a link on this site and are approved, cardful may earn a referral commission — at no cost to you and with no effect on what the app recommends. Recommendations come from the valuation engine, not from who pays us.
